What about tests like AMCAT?

AMCAT (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test) is an employability assessment test that helps filter students for the requirements of various companies tied up with Aspiring Minds. The test comprises Compulsory Modules like Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability and English Comprehension, besides Personality and Optional Modules on domain competencies.

SMART trains students for AMCAT as well.

What is the duration of company-specific training?

Company-specific training is ideally done in full-day workshop mode for more intense focus. The duration can be customized from 3 days upwards.

However, the factors worth considering while determining the training duration would be

  • difficulty level of the test in question
  • extent and quality of general training previously imparted to students
  • time gap from the time of training to the date of test
  • current level of students (which can be determined with a Pre-Training Test)

When should the company-specific training take place?

While its best to start the general training as early as possible (ideally the 1st or 2nd year itself), it is recommended that company-specific training be done just before recruitment with a gap no greater than 15-20 days.

However, it is strongly advised that you block the dates (at least tentatively) with us much in advance because recruitment season can be pretty hectic with dates being frozen months in advance!
