How to get into NIFT or NID?

The entrance exams for NIFT and NID are comprehensive affairs that test your general abilities, creative abilities as well as practical design application. The NID exam is usually in January while the NIFT exam is in February.

GENERAL ABILITY TEST (GAT) for Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) and Master of Design (M.Des.):

4) Analytical Ability
5) General Knowledge and Current Affairs
The number of questions may vary in each section year to year.
